Forest Sprite Oracle

$18 USD

Deep in the oldest part of the forest, past the place where the paths give up and the moss takes over, there is a small clearing. Not easy to find. But those who are truly lost — not in the forest, but somewhere a little deeper — sometimes find their way here.

The Oracle lives in this clearing. Small, dark, nearly invisible among the shadows. Its coat is the colour of old charcoal; its antlers look like dry branches on a moonless night. Its eyes are a soft pinkish glow — the kind that belongs to creatures who see a little more than most.

In its paws it holds a glass orb. Clear, and filled with tiny silver sparks. Pick it up, give it a gentle shake, and the sparks rise — slowly, unhurriedly, the way snow falls on a winter evening when there's nowhere you need to be. They drift for longer than they ought to. Much longer.

Nobody knows where the orb came from. The Oracle doesn't say. It only watches — steadily, without judgement, as if it already knows what you haven't asked yet.

The forest creatures all have their own stories about it. Some say that if you look into the orb long enough, and quietly enough, you'll see something that means something to you specifically. Others say there's nothing in there but glitter — and that this, too, is a kind of truth worth sitting with.

Most visitors simply pick it up, give it a shake, and watch the silver sparks settle. And somehow, for a while, things feel less urgent. Not solved — just a little quieter. As if not everything needs to be figured out before the glitter reaches the bottom.

The Oracle gives no advice. It prefers silence. But somehow, in its company, people tend to find the answer they already knew.
